Working on this month's project. Will go on the frame tomorrow and hopefully will be done on Saturday. Trying to keep up with all the wants and needs of many. Life is good and busy. Hope everyone has a great day. Will post design strategy nearer the end of the month!

Well, already late on my project for the month of January, but better late than never. I have been doing lots of things but I wasn't able to finish the big project that I was hoping for. I'm still quilting the portrait quilt, and here's a preview.
The project that I actually finished this month is much smaller and less time consuming. I'm not saying it was the easiest thing ever; I didn't have a pattern, just a picture. It is for a friend's daughter who goes to grade school. She will be collecting valentines from her class and her mother wanted a special "mailbox" for her. So here it is. She sent me a picture and I just went with it. There will be no mass production, so don't ask.😏
I'm already planning this month's project. I am also making soaps and bath bombs, going to school, starting a part-time job, as well as working my full-time job and raising my teenager. We as a team are working on our social media presence so be prepared for great things.

Lo and behold. It's a new year, 2019. This is the year of major changes and ideas. My oldest daughter and I have, yet again, issued each other a challenge. A project a month since we thought a project a week would be just too much with our overloaded schedules. You are going to be awed and amazed. Maybe a little baffled, too. So keep on the lookout for new postings.
(This was my quilt challenge from Cherrywood Fabrics- it's in their booth at the quilt shows if you want to look at it close up.)
