On my last post I stated that I had played around with making fabric bead.I went to the International Quilt Show in Houston in October 2009 and met a fabulous woman by the name of Kristal Wick that made fabric beads. I bought her book and just tried this technique last month. Awesome. Here is a picture of the beads that I made.
Next, is a picture of a little wallhanging I did with an applique from McKenna Ryan that I adapted to fit.
Last but not least, is a picture of the mosaic quilt that I did of a woman that I work with and her daughter. It's made from the quilted photo method by Tammie Bowser, but then it is embellished with tulle and inks... Turned out well, I think. I'm looking for a competition to enter it in.
