Okay, so another week has bitten the dust and once again, I did finish my project on time. There have been many distractions in this thing called life. I've started a college Art class so that I can learn to draw. It's very frustrating for me most of the time, because I am very critical of my own work. I'm going to stick it out and see how much I can learn. I'm sure it can only help me in my art quilt endevors.
I began making more beer cap beads due to the overwhelming want from my coworkers for more. These do take quite a bit of work and time, but they are well worth it.
I'm still making fabric flowers when I have a few moments. They are so cute and will come in useful for a project on day, I'm sure.
So this week's project was from an Amy Butler pattern that I received indirectly, from one of my old friends. I am dedicating it to Shirley Gillett because it was her pattern and I received it upon her death. She had made the quilt in the past, it being so cute, I made only one block into a wallhanging for my youngest child, who is crazy about penguins.

I have to now decide what my next weeks project will be. So for now, keep on quilting...
